Summoners!

We are closing in on the release of League of Legends: Dominion. Soon you will be able to join your friends and allies in fast-paced, action-packed battles for supremacy on the Crystal Scar.

And so, in preparation for the launch of the new game mode, we are planning to enter a limited beta test period for League of Legends: Dominion. During this time, Dominion will be available for play by all summoners only during limited testing windows at off-peak hours. We will keep you informed of these testing sessions as they occur, and our goal is to increase the availability of Dominion leading up to its full launch.

The purpose of this testing period is to ensure Dominion rolls out smoothly, so that hundreds of thousands of players can enjoy it at the same time – not a small feat!

Our aim is to make Dominion fully available as soon as we have satisfied all of goals for release through this beta testing period. Stay tuned for further information on these testing windows.

The focus on the night will be free to play games like League of Legends, however the full list of games is changing constantly. To get the latest event info check out the event’s Facebook page.

RSVP on the event’s Facebook page! There will be some small giveaways, and the more people that appear the more we’ll hand out, so get your friends to come on as well!

The tourney will last over 1 week, ending on Sunday the sixth. Post in the comments section who won what duel!

P.S. No Homo

Again I inserted the disk. It asked me to overwrite the old, broken install of Jolicloud; I did. Again I watched the installation bar go and stop at 79%. After an hour, I decided something was screwy.

I did the only thing I could think of: unplug the Ethernet cable. I did, and the installation continued. Weird.

My theory is that the stuck at 79% glitched was caused by my bridged Ethernet connection (via Windows 7). Even now, though the bridge works, I have to rebridge the connection every time I restart Jolicloud, and Joloicloud must be on while I rebridge…

I’ll update you all in the future if I find a fix.

What are these points going to be for? Various things, including Riot points, BLC points, first dibs on team mates at the next LAN party, rights to decide what games we play at the next LAN party, and more!

The deadline for these posts is Monday at midnight. None of the posts will be posted until next month so I can keep tally. Also, ALL points are going into this drawing, so after this everyone is going to start back at zero points.

For the most part we are looking for Bloodline Champion character reviews, as well as LoL champion reviews. They don’t need to be long, and just need your comments, how you like to play the character, dos, don’ts, a few screenshots, and a copy and paste of all the character’s lore and abilities. For all other posts, remember to check out our short list of post regulations to make your post easy on yourself.

Please, I am hoping everyone does at LEAST three posts in this time. They don’t need to be hard; just think of it as a way to spice up the next LAN party!
