An awful lot of people have been asking me when I think League of Legends (LoL) season 1 will start. My personal guess is no earlier than the 15th of July because the LoL team patches bi-monthly, but everything may be pushed back until the end of the month. I am pretty sure it won’t be any later than that, though, because the students that play and want to play in the tournament will go back to school in a few months and they need that base of players. Then again, there isn’t a set date, yet… so I am betting closer to the end of the month. Chances are season one will be announced on g4, though, because one of the people who work at Riot Games said it will be “worth your while” (check out that forum post HERE). But, in all seriousness, nobody but Riot themselvs know for sure when season 1 is going to start, and even they may not be sure.
