Well it looks like Google is advancing very quickly these days. They’re now coming out with a Google chrome OS. They say that the load time of this operating system will boot in a matter of 7 seconds. Now does that mean that it’s crappy? According to them it isn’t. They say that Chrome, on the computer is going to be “blazing” fast. Not many computer companies have agreed to this yet, but time will tell. But here’s the main difference that the chrome OS has: It ill rely on COMPLETE flash memory that is internet based. Does anyone see the problem with that? Well, what if you’re not connected to the internet? What if you have to save your midterm paper and you don’t have an external hard drive or flash drive handy, and the roads are icy (For the people that live in Ohio, <_<)? Just a thought. Anyway, Google says that this operating system will be released in late 2010. Personally, I like Google chrome, but this new OS is either going to be the best on the market, or it’ll crash and burn. Only it’s customers can decide.
